How does it ride?

Well dont panic, ive got a question about lifts but its not a what brand and what size tires thread. lol. ive currently got about 5 inches of lift on my XJ and it works pritty good for what I do. But Im seriously thinking about buying myself a new lift for Xmas or around new years. Im pritty sure I know what brand im gonna go with so i dont care about that. im considering 6.5 LT or 8.5 LT (prob 8.5) to just go ahead and get it up there. My question is to those who have these setups, how do they ride out on the highway. its an everyday driver and I will be driving in everywhere, everyday. Ive heard they ride fine, and then ive heard its hard to control, but i find most of this info im finding is written by poeple who dont even have these size lifts. How do you know? So people who do, please respond. Thanks

That's pretty high for a DD. What size tires you planning on running?

Also depends on what your trying to achieve. You wanna just look like a douche in a lifted jeep or do you want function? Long arm is a must. If you run short arm, your nuts. Boarder line retarded. What size tire and tread? Gears should be around 5.13. And those dinky axles wont support 37's for too long.
I say stick with a 5.5" lift done right with long arms. Build your axles and some 35's. Along with lockers and well done steering. Maybe a Tera flex transer case. Some armor and winch. No need for 8" lift is there?
