You probably have to pull off trim panels on the inside to get to fasteners.

That's what i thought but i can't get the lifts on the back hatch off. I pulled off the c clip but they don't come off do i need to hit them really hard or what

Those rams are nutty strong. You might try lifting it fast to take the pressure off the ball/socket. The 50lbs? pressure is holding it on. I've done it a dozen times, but never took a good one off!

Take off the clips, hold up the hatch amd use a big screwdriver to pry them off the studs.

I just pulled the c clip back i didn't realize it came all the way out. After that it comes easy. Especially when you hit it really hard and it smashes you in the jaw
