How do I Remove/Disable the Rear ABS ?
I'm in the garage right now installing a 98 8.25 in my 97 that has a D35.
It appears my D35 has ABS but the new 8.25 does not.
How do I go about this ?

You need to switch over to a standard break system, once you disable the abs by removing wires it will not function and abs pump and components will not be reliable.
I switched mine over and it was straight foward, remove all abs components and replaced it with a standard set up.
I will say this,I did not try and operate mine with sensors diconected like you are from the wheels,my pump went out and it just cost to much to replace.
If you do not want to switch over,I sugest taking the sensors off the front and just see how they do,you will show a fault and the pump may not be reliable.

So I would need to replace the the whole brake system ?
I don't even see how to remove the Sensors as it seems the Sensors and wires are all one peice and I don't how to get the Sensor out of the brake drum without cutting the wires.

The sensors are bolted to it,and the tone ring is pressed to the axle, just remove wires, the rest will be removed when you swap the differential.
I swapped mine out due to the pump,I just removed all abs related components and replaced with a standard brake system including brake lines,it did not cost much from the jy,but it was a bit labor intensive, the brake lines were the hardest because they were behind everything and you cannot bend them.
You can try your brake system, but without the wheel sensors it is not going to be reliable because it does get the communication it is looking for. Just be careful until you know how it is going to act.

Once you switch to the 8.25 it makes not difference because it does not have abs, that pick-up has to see the tone ring on the axle,it has the teeth on it,if that is not there it does not make any difference weather the wires are cut or not. It has been awhile since i did mine but I thought there was a rubber plug for it to go through,if not there should be a connector close by,I just cut all my wires out of the entire jeep, and removed the controller under the back seat, mine is an 89.
