Default How can I make the best out of this?

I'm trying to get a lift for the Jeep, but I'm not exactly rich. I'm in high school, and minimum wage doesn't do too much for me. I will not get an AAL because I don't want to worry about sagging or anything. I was thinking about the S10 "Bastard Packs", but I'm not too sure on those. I was going to try and piece together a custom lift kit. Not make the stuff myself, but buy different components to make the perfect kit.

I just don't know where to start. This guy is selling these SkyJacker leaf's, but other than them, I don't know what else I would need to complete the lift. Any help would be great.

Here's the link to the ad.

As a poor high school kid myself I understand where you're coming from.I suggest a 3" lift from Rough country. Not a bad price and very reliable. If that's too much, you could possibly make a lift like you said. Find all the parts you need on craigslist, local ads, etc, then do the lift from their. To finish the lift you'd need to know what size you want. If you're going for 3" then you could probably go onto any of the suspension/lift sites and find out what their kits include, then find all of that stuff individually.

I don't know too much of the s10 packs or how much lift they will net you at.

I'm currently building my part collection for my budget boost so I can't give you my experience with it, but check out this link: http://www.lunghd.com/Tech_Articles/...udget_Lift.htm

that should get you in the right direction,
