I second that Heater Control Valve.

Get is fixed ASAP. Do not drive till its fixed. I bought a jeep with a blown motor a few years back to make a few bucks. The motor was blown becuse that valve broke and the driver kept driving the jeep and overheated the engine. That valve gets brittle with age, and if its already leaking! well its not a good thing.

So just disconnect all the hoses and replace the center valve?

Yes sir. Yeah the hoses are the original hoses so i am just go ahead and replace the whole thing. Im not really a mechanic which is why i went with the XJ cause i heard that they are really easy to work on so its a learning process for me.
