Jeep won't idle untill engine warms up then it runs ok cel light was on had it scanned iac valve circuit so I replaced iac valve now it idle's at 2000 rpm's. Removed the iac and sprayed throttle cleaner in mount hole still idle's way to fast thinking it could be a defective part any idea's. thanks

Disconnect the battey cables and touch them together once they are disconnected. Hold them together for ten or fifteen seconds then reattach them to your battery. That causes the ECU to be depleated of it's memory and after several restarts (10-12) it will relearn everything and your idle should return to normal. Each restart needs to let the engine run a minute or two so that the signals are all registered in the ECU. Try that before going any further.

Thanks for the info blue xj after I sprayed the iac mount hole and put the old valve back cel light is off seems to idle better we'll see how it goes.
