Default HID HEADLIGHT

I know alot has been posted on these headlights. When i read threads and replies to this subject i get confused. i just want to get the kit from one place, without ordering projectors here , bulbs there and wiring harnesses ( if even needed)from different stores. Can someone recommend a kit w/ hi/ lo beams and all else needed from one supplier that just "plug in"
THANKS

you still need the H4 housings......Hi/Lo kits are trash...........Most kits should be plug and play. I payed 80 for my kit and it has a 5 year warranty.

i already have h4 housings with reagular bulbs, would be very interested in upgrading but get real confused as to where to buy the kit, can i just get ballasts and bulbs and wire them up to switch off my stock headlight harness? (stock headlight harness tells the ballasts to come on / do high or low beam via a relay)

if hi /low kits are junk, what do you do? run a really bright low beam all the time? or get two different kits to run different parts of the bulb? or is there only one bulb.

not trying to hijack, just have a lot of the same questions

Get a bi-xenon kit if you want both Hi and Lo beam. I ordered a kit for my ZJ through DDM Tuning. They have a lifetime warranty.

The kits i buy are made in germany, have METAL balasts.....unlike alot of the cheap plastic japan crap i see. BELIEVE me the low beams are more than enough..My lights in my jeep are better than a new 8 Series BMW. HI/LO bi kits have a high failure rate........specially if they have the moving bulbs.

http://stores.ebay.com/Xenon-HID-Worlds is the place i buy the KIT from....all plug and play. ive bought 3 to be exact......

Look into the ION kits from Autoloc (Hoffman group) they are carried in a lot of auto parts chains which means they have to be decent quality. We sell them at my work and we have had good luck with them. They have a good warranty and all of the bulbs are really nice quality. As for the HI/LO kits... It is your choice. The low beams are bright enough that you might not need a high beam but it is nice to have that little extra for areas where it is REALLY dark.

The hi/lo kits usually require that you wire a solenoid for the hi/lo function. I run an H4 bulb on my Civic Si without any high beam and it does just fine.

Just make sure you aim your headlights down a little bit after installing the HID kit because they will be brighter and have a little more glare if you aren't running an HID specific projector housing.
