Hi setting on blower not working

Hi setting on blower not working
I've got a 96 Grand Cherokee Laredo. All the blower settings work except when I set it to "HI". The blower then just cuts off. Any ideas as to what the problem may be?

Blower motor resistor no 1 suspect. Also should be in Grand Cherokee section for more detailed vehicle specific answers.
