I ordered new upper control arms for my '91 XJ, the bushing in the arm where it attaches to the frame has a 12mm bolt hole in it.
I also ordered the bushings that go on the top of the front axle from Quadratec, they too have 12mm bolt holes.
Everything I'm reading says the UCAs use 10mm bolts. I called Quadratec and they told me that both the front and rear bushings on the UCA are the same, so I asked the guy why the bushing has a 12mm hole instead of 10mm and he couldn't give me an answer... My Jeep definitely has a 10mm bolt on the axle end.
Has anyone else run into this?
I've never done control arms so this is all new to me, any help is appreciated. TIA
