help tcm no shifter signal!!!
Ok the jeep is a 98 cherokee, 4.0. It's getting a p0705 code. I ve replaced the neutral safety switch and the code still trips. I also swapped in a used pcm, still trips. It is not a hard fault because I can drive it for about a weekend sometimes before it throws the code. Any help will be appreciated.

this might be helpfull. looks like your switch could be bad. I think it is located on the side of the transmisison.

Thanks for the reply. I found someone had added a relay for either fog lights or stereo and tapped into the vihicle harness, causing this sensor to malfunction. People shouldnt add parts if they dont know what they are doing!
