HELP with Starting issues PLEASEEEE!!!
hey guys i have a 1994 cherokee 4.0L manual and on somedays i have trouble with it. It used to only happen once in a while, and now it seems to be happening more frequently. When i go to start it, it will crank but never get the motor working. i stop then try, the same thing, cranks but will not start. then if i leave it alone for hours and come back later it will start(most of the time), sometimes i just leave it alone overnight, and the next morning it will start up. i also noticed that when this happens and after trying for a while and i get it to finally start, and i drive off the car runs like *$#@. it feels like it is misfiring or something, just runs like complete poop. when i give it gas it feels delayed and i have to switch to a lower gear and try to give it more gas... Any iDEAS!!!!!!!!!!!!
thanks this is my car for school so any help is appreciated

What is your fuel pressure? Does it stay pressurized or de-pressurize as soon as you turn your jeep off? What is your compression in each cylinder? What is your battery voltage? Have you changed plugs and cap/rotor lately?
Put a spark tester/timing gun on each spark plug wire do they have current running through them as you try to crank it ( does it light the gun consistantly while cranking? If so get a spark gap tester and make sure it jumps the correct gap for our jeeps. Answer these questions and I can help you.
