Help! Sheared off rear shock lower bolt
Hi everyone,
Recently my 99 XJ's left rear shock broke off from its upper mounting bolts & I decided to remove the shock to keep it from moving around. Unfortunately it seems the nut attaching the shock to the lower bolt had seized & the bolt sheared off when removing the nut. Looks like the bolt is a part of the shock mount, so is my only option to have a new lower shock mount welded on? I don't suppose anyone would know where I could get a hold of one...not sure if there are any junkyards in the area.
I just ordered some bilsteins, looks like putting them on isn't going to be so easy now!
Edit: It only occured to me to do a search after posting this...looks like a simple fix:

If anyone has a better way of fixing this, let me know!
Thanks,

Is it seized in the sleeve? Use a cut off wheel and cut the shock loop at the bottom, cut the bushing off and the sleeve has a slit in it, use a hammer and flathead to open the sleeve and the bolt will come out
