Default Help! Popping sound!

I have a 98 xj cherokee classic with a 4.5 inch skyjacker lift and 32x11.5 inch tires. When i make a left turn, theres a "pop" noise in the left steering wheel. Any help would be great. Please and thanks

Post a picture of your Cherokee with what I assume to be 2 steering wheels, that sounds silly, but I'm cool with it.

Does the right steering wheel make the same noise or is that one tight?

I have the same noise, but it sounds like its coming from the left side of the dash....not either of the steering wheel, or "wheels" lol

Going through the same kind of thing. Check track bar bolts and bracket and make sure your coil spring is seated correctly.

Track bar bolts. The 4 that holds the bracket to the frame and the one that holds the track bar to the bracket. Tighten the crap out of all of them.

Your popping could also be in the steering shaft that goes to the steering box but your more likely culprit is the track bar.
