Default Help please!

Hello.
I have been getting more and more annoyed with This paint chipping around my windows. I was wondering if anyone knows if there is away to remove this paint or if there is a way I can fix this problem. Its only getting worse so i would rather just have the chrome thats under it.
Thanks

From the looks of it you should be able to just scrape it off, or maybe tape it off and use paint remover?

I think that it is a rubber coating, not paint.

I think that is rubber coating over the trim, I know its not a Jeep but my old civic was doing that, I peeled all the rubber off. Scuffed it real good, and hit it with some bedliner aresol, and It looked pretty good for under 10 bucks

I wonder if a strong adhesive tape (duct tape??) would peel it off?

Like stick the tape on and then pull it off. Worth a try.

That whole trim comes off easily. You could put them to a bench grinder wire wheel. It's aluminum behind it.

Make sure you don't use abrasive cleaners or scrubbers. You might try 0000 steel wool. Make sure it is 0000 (4 zeros). I use this on my chrome pipes on my bike any time an insect burns itself on the exhaust. That and woman's shoe soles from where they rest on my rear passenger floor boards.
