Help no clutch

If Anybody can help me out it would be greatly appreciated. I have a 99 XJ 4 door 5 speed and after a trip to the woods yesterday playing in some mud and water I went to drive it this morning and my clutch pedal was completely free. There's no pressure on the pedal at all and it doesn't shift into gear unless I turn the engine off. If anyone could help me out it would be a big help I know how to turn a wrench just don't know much about clutches.

Check your clutch fluid for starters.

You probably need a slave cylinder, sounds like it bled out.

The fluid was low so I added some and still nothing and thanks for the reply

Look at/Around slave for leaks, maybe pull it out and press it against something, have somebody push the clutch in and see if its got pressure

Did pedal linkages break look make sure it moving the rod.

Sounds like the slave sucked up some water and mud. Go ahead and replace both as a unit, I hear you can get them pre bled for like 200

If it drove to where you parked it, I'd start looking for leaks.

Bought mine on rockauto a bit cheaper than that....pre-bled and ready to go.

Replaced Slave cylinder with an autozone one and tried to bleed through the bleeder valve on top of the slave cylinder But its only drizzling out and I still don't have any feel in the pedal itself or clutch

You're trying to push all the air down. Disconnect slave from trans and bleed it again. Don't let the piston pop out. Air wants to move up in the system.
