Help, need engine replacement advice

So my engine on my 95 Cherokee just went out. I found a great deal for a motor, tranny, and transfer case with 90k miles for $300, but its from a 96 Cherokee. I got it home and started doing some research, I'm not sure if it will fit in a 95. Does anyone have any thoughts on that? I'm only replacing the engine, not the tranny or transfer case. Any info will be helpful. Thanks!

if i'm not mistaken, 95 is OBD 1, 96 is OBD 2. you would definitely need a harness.
