Default heater help

hey guys, i got a 89 cherokee waggy,with 4.0 auto, the heater switch is bad, i think, and i cant afford a new one, witha newborn and no job money is too tight, how can i bypass the switch so we can get heat, its starting to get cold lol, thx guys

If you are talking about the vacuum switch you can cut the main vacuum line to the switch at the firewall next to the heater control valve and just put it on the heater control valve,you will always have heat or you can get a small piece of tubing and put it back together when needed. The switch is not very much if you get one from the jy.

the heater switch on the dashboard is bad, that controls the blower motor, is whats bad. i wanna bypass that... to get the heat...

The only way to bypass it without a switch is to remove the wires from the switch and wire the power to the one of the wires for the blower,I do not think it is very safe though. That switch is no more than a few bucks at the local jy. If you need one I have one in my garage that worked when removed from my last xj.
You can have it if not able to get another just send your address to pm and I will send it.
