Heater core problem

How do you dissconect these AC lines? Do you need a special tool?

Yes,and they might be pressurerized if your ac is working!

Since your post is titled "Heater Core Problem", I wouldn't disconnect the A/C lines unless you know you have to. It's an extra PITA if you aren't working on the A/C system. You can replace the heater core without disconnecting the A/C system.
