Default heater caused some problems....

So I have an 87 cherokee that I'm bringing back from the dead. While replacing what seemed like endless parts, I was installing a new speed indicator switch for the heater (the last one had melted out and would only work on low if not at all), and while pulling off somewhat melted together piece I received an electric shock and the whole truck shut off. (probably would have been smart to not have the truck running while doing this?) anyhow the truck started back up just fine, but now the horn, windshield wipers, and heater don't work. Looked at every fuse on the drivers side and there fine. Didn't see any in the engine bay other than relays. Does anyone know what relay or other problem this might be?

Do the signal lights work? And are you sure you didn't accidentally knock the plug loose from the bottom of the steering column that controls windshield wipers/horn/signal lights? (or, at least I believe the signal lights are on there too)

I haven't actually checked the the turn signals. its been sitting a while. i was limping it back over to where I store it when I noticed the windshield wipers didn't work. I haven't looked into it to far mostly cause its not stored where I live. But i'm just trying to know where to start. I'll check the plug next time I go out. Any other ideas thou?

There should be a long plug with several different wires on the bottom of the steering column. You should be able to see it by just looking under there, it will be more to the passenger side of the column and kind of a yellowish white color.

I think i've seen it before, I'll double check it. But if thats not the case could it be a relay? or is there another place for fuses that i'm not realizing?

I don't think it would be a relay and I don't know of anywhere else there is a fuse other than right there under the dash.

The connector may be black as well. Just found that out from my other Jeep.

Question

Alright so I went back out to try to figure out the problem today with little success. Check all the connections everywhere inside the truck and inside the engine bay. All is connected. checked and replaced all the fuses on the fuse board on the drivers side, replaced both thermal flashers and checked to make sure the circuit fuse was still fine which is was. I'm not sure as to what else it might be. I dont know of any other fuses inside the truck so might this be a short in the wiring or is this a bad relay? I know theres 4 relays on the passenger side of the motor, and one one the right side. Other than these I'm not sure what else might have blown..

start by putting a test light on the plug at the wiper motor see if you got power... also make sure the wiper motor isn't working i've had the wiper transmission (linkages) pop of the motor

I'll check but why would that make the rest of my components go off? Looking at a few other threads, another thing to consider might be the ignition switch. Would this be the only other thing that would make the horn, windshield wipers, turnsignals, and blower not work?
