Default Heads

My dumbass didn't tighten my radiator cap all the way and let my girlfriend drive it about ten miles. It heated up to about 250 before she noticed. It didn't run any different but I am concerned about my heads. I let it cool down and fill it back with coolant and all seems alright just want some feedback

Always post year/engine.

If you have an 00-01, you should be concerned as the 0331 head cracks very easily upon an engine overheat. The 87-99 are much more forgiving there.

Any symptoms?

Then just drive it and watch things (like temp, coolant use, etc) closely for a while. Hopefully you'll be okay.

It's still running a little hot but coolant use is fine. I'm going to throw a new thermostat on there and see if that fixes it. Still no symptoms besides running a little hot. It was also a 100 degree day here in Ohio yesterday.
