I redid mine (2000), the homo before me had some cheetah/leopard print up there. it just peeled of. then i got some headliner glue from joan fabric i think it was called, its pretty expensive, about $20 a can but its definetly worth it. you only need one can even though the can says buy two.
After i got the headiner material off, i used a wire brush and scrapped off the rest of the foam that was still stuck on it.
Just a tip, when doing the front, be sure to go over the edge and wrap it around to the top side of the headliner, you can see that edge from the front of the vehicle. Hope this helps

I think it will just peel off and there is a little bit of foam padding left on there. to put your camo stuff on there is some spray glue for headliners.

if you want it to last a long time and never fall of dont use the crap listed above!
yo want 3M general trim adheasive for headliner code 08088 its clear and is very strong. and around the same price!. if you dont care about it showing thru at all then you can go with the stronger stuff the clear is medium the strong strong is yellowish and you could have problems with it seeping thru.. i forget the code... if done many suede headliners for different cars with the 08088 and suede isnt light its heavy stuff.. and it holds great!
but peel the old headliner off.. and make sure you scrape all the old glue (foamy stuff) off.. the glue wont work properly if you dont get that all off!

that may be the stuff i bought. i redid the headliner a while back and cant recall who made it. I just know that it contained headliner and adhesive on the label. it doesnt show any signs of coming off though. its some pretty strong stuff it seems, but only time will tell.

make sure you let get tackey just leave it there for about 3 minutes... and you should only do half the headliner at a time.. alot easier to work with! i speak from lots of experience...

there shouldnt really be bubbles since its not a solid layer, air will be allowed to go thru the material. like mistuboost30 said. do half at a time or less. if you start at the front, spray a bit, let it sit a few mins, lay the material down, and keep repeating that. as long as you dont completely saturate the headliner board, you should be able to use your hand to smooth anything out without the glue seeping through.

oh, that part where the rear speakers is, its kinda a pain from what i experianced. i had to cut the material and bring the 2 edges together. doesnt look pretty but doesnt look like complete crap either. with camo, it shouldnt be to noticeable where the cut is
