The headliner in my '92 XJ sags. Any tips how to tighten it up?

 

i ripped mine out last night, i couldnt take it anymore. ill eventually replace it..

 

I might do the same thing. Its old and faded, doesnt match the color behind the sun visors.

 

No use trying to get it back up there. At least not looking good. Mines out. I used a whole can of spray anhesive and it wouldn't hold. Paste adhesive holds but soaks through the liner and looks just as bad as not having a headliner. The only beneftit to glueing it back up there is so you don't have that orange handliner foam falling out all over the place.

 

I used 2 bucks of thumb tacks evenly spaced. Doesn't look bad at all. It was just a temp fix at first but its grew on me a little bit
