Default headlights won't turn on

so two days ago I noticed that my headlights were turning off and coming back on while driving at night and as of yesterday they have not turn on at all. All of my blinkers and side markers work fine. Is it the headlight switch that is most likely needed to be replaced?

That would be my best guess. Full power for the headlights goes through the headlight switch unless you have modified the harness in some way.

My vote is for the headlight switch. But before you start throwing parts at it....

Have you checked all your fuses? Do you have a multimeter to check to see if/where youre getting power?

When the headlight switch overheats, it can take the headlight switch connector right along with it. The connector melts. Check both.

also check the blinker/high beam switch. the headlights get routed through there too.
