headlights not working

In my jeep my headlights stopped working but my brights work fine, what would cause the headlights to stop working.

Maybe you just need new headlights? That's what fixed my problem on mine.

I was just thinking the same thing. The low beam filaments may have burn out.

And yes, anticipating the objection, they do sometimes both fail at the same time. Often if one goes, the other one will crap out shortly afterward. Knowing this, I usually go ahead and replace both even if only one has died.

I'm voting to check this as well. On my first car, I discovered that I had no brake lights. Well.... Others let me know by locking up their brakes and blaring the horn when I stopped. I was certain I must have had a wiring problem for them both to be out. Nope. Both brake light filaments were burned but the tail lights still worked. It happens.
