Default Headlight Issue???

I have been having a problem with my jeeps headlights. After about fifteen minutes or so they will start flasing on and off...

There are a couple of other things to factor in though. One is that it has a factory fog light switch that seems to be causing the issue. When in the on position (or lit) there is a buzzing noise from the dash. Also, the previous owner installed these blue headlights, and I don't know if that could be an issue.

As always, any help is appreciated!

Also... My air bag light is on. I am going to post a seperate thread b/c I don't know if the two issues are related.

Have you tried running it with the factory fog light switch disconnected?

The fog light RELAY recieves its power from the LOW BEAM circuit of the headlight system.
Perhaps the switch is faulty causing feedback through the system.

Never know, if it is faulty MAY cure the "other" light problem.

Sounds like your goofy blue headlights installed by the PO are overloading the headlight circuit. Don't know what the fascination is with those blue headlights. I have IPF high output WHITE headlights that work great.

Buck, which headlights are you running? Is IPF the brand?

That sounds like the easiest thing to check off first...

Thanks again!
