Default Head Question

Can someone tell me if I am correct in assuming that if I add a 96-98 Head to my 99 4.0 that it will give me the 15+hp of the 99 intake is supposed to offer? Thanks in advance

Unless your '99 has coil pack ignition and the 0331 head, then you should have the 0630 head which is the same as the '96-'98 Cherokees. The intake might not give you a huge increase in HP, but many recommend it for the change in throttle response.

finally some clarification.....I have been looking for weeks everthing I found said the 99 had smaller exh. ports so its only the 0331 then. I knew that some of the late 99 had the 0331. thanks
