Is DEXCOOL the wrong coolent for Jeeps or just that year?

I did not uses DEXCOOL but my other XJ came with it and had it for many years.

Can I see if the Head has a Crack by taking the Valve cover off and looking around in there ?

Mixing dexcool with the regular green stuff is bad. It turns into a nasty goo. Dexcool is also not good for aluminum long term.

I have used this with good results before , They claim it can fix some cracks in the Head also. I might try it again.

Can I run the hose in the motor someplace to see if i have a Cracked Head?????

The more I look at it ,the more I think it is a CRACK. I sprayed water on it last night. Now the crack is a lil rusty.. Can I use my 95 XJ Head?

yep will also need matching exhaust manifold (or adapter), custom down pipe and O2 wiring extensions.
95 head has smaller ports and does not have retainers for Coil Pack as used on '00-'01.

WOW that is lots of good info . My 2000 has 2 CATS on the pipes coming out of the Head . Can I bypass this with my 95XJ Down Pipes will it run OK?
