I searched through a couple pages of "Hazards" and "Emergency Flashers" and didn't find the answer so I apologize in advance if I'm the million and oneth person to ask this...

When I activate the hazards normally, the dash indicators barely illuminate, the exterior lights don't flash at all. It also makes yucky electrical noises and causes the headlights to dim in sequence with the relay (a.k.a. short). If I carefully depress the hazard button partially, the dash and front lights flash normally but the rear lights never flash. All other lights work correctly (blinkers, parking, brake, reverse). I suspected the relay but I'm pretty sure it uses the same relay for the turn indicators (?) and, as I said, the turn indicators work fine. So, I'm down to the hazard switch but before I go through pulling the steering hub apart I wanted your opinion.
