Havin a Brain Fart! Renix Fuel Injector Diagnostics..
So i just rebuilt the head, all new everything, rockers bolted down to spec and in the right order, new push rods, lifters, yada yada yada!
Anyway now I believe that i am having an injector that is leaking down into the cylinder. I was wondering what the best way to test each injector for a leak? Like the title says I am having a brain fart day!
Here is the symptom im having, when the jeep is shut down for even two minutes (gas station run) it starts quick (fuel pump is new so new check valve), but is very grumbly until i get going down the road, no gas smells, but acts like the cylinder is loading up with gas while it sits even for a short time. Idling after driving for a minute is pretty good, not grumbly at all

You can hook a mechanical pressure gauge to the fuel rail, turn your key on to get the fuel pump to pressurize the system, then turn the key off. Watch the gauge to see if you lose pressure (I believe that it shouldn't lose any pressure...). Leaking injector would evidence itself by a pressure drop. Someone else will have to come along and give you an injector by injector technique.

So update:
Plugged the guage on it and at idle have good pressure, then shut it down to check for leak down, the pressure is rising, was 32.5 when shut down, now after sitting about ten minutes it's up to 39?
Then after sitting for a while longer it starts to creep back down
Checked plugs and they aren't gas soaked, and no gas coming from tailpipe

Not the injectors then. Spray some throttle body cleaner around the intake tract with it idling and see if the idle speed changes in any way.

Oh lord lets hope it's not that, just did all new gasket for the intake and exhaust, full r&r and clean on everything. I'll give that a shot tomorrow and see where it gets me
