Harmonic balanced question
I just replaced an old harmonic balancer on my 97 xj. At idle there still seems to be some wiggle coming from that Area. When I rev the engine it seems to smooth out. What gives? Don't know if it matters but I kept the same crankshaft key that' was already in it. Didn't replace.

Basically when watching the balancer there is a wobble. I figured replacing this part would correct that and make the whole serpentine system run smoother. Should I have replaced the key when doing this? I just reused the one already on. Maybe I didn't tighten her down enough?

Why did you replace the old balancer?
