Hard codes p1698 and p1694
Went to get my cel checked and got these codes they can't be cleared either." No bus" message coming up on odometer. Oil psi gauge, heat gauge, speedometer, rpms, and fuel gauge all don't function. Drives fine. I took apart the dash and cleaned the connections they are fine. Fuses are fine. Haven't seen any frayed wires or questionable connections. I dont know how to proceed from here. It's an automatic 2000 Jeep Cherokee sport 4.0 liter

Wha?
"cleaned the connections they are fine."
Connector or the cluster itself could be trashed

You mean p1698 and p1694? Clean the grounds and try again. It is good practice to keep them clean as Cherokees do not like dirty grounds. No vehicle does, but Cherokees are fussier than most imo. While that may not be the issue here, your grounds are certainly worth looking into.
