Hammer Head Lift Kits ??
Hi all, I am new to the Cherokee world and have been comparing lift kits, I am considering a 3" BB kit, front spacers, rear shackles. I found a company called Hammer Head on Ebay selling exactly what I want with shocks for $189 + shipping.
Anyone out there have any experience with this company ?
Thanks

I have never hear of them before but if I were to suggest one I would say rough country. They have quality stuff for the price and they are geared towards jeeps. I got a 3 inch lift with shocks and coil springs and add a leafs for 218 on jcwhitney.com

Ya I herd of them and I herd they resell used lifts! If your going to lift you should get a new full leaf pack. Other wise you will regret it. If its all you can afford its better then nothing.
I am a Rough Country fan for life. Great quality, prices, and customer service. Can't beat it.

One of the things they don't tell you with budget kits is that you need new longer shocks. It ends up not being as cheap as you thought. The second thing is that if you put a long enough shackle on to raise the rear 3" it will ruin your rear spring and start sagging and you will end up putting a new spring pack back there anyway. So, in the end you save nothing. Also those shackles will change your pinion angle enough to cause driveline vibrations and you will end up having to correct that also. Just get a spring pack for the back and avoid some expense down the road and some work now.
