Are the hack and tap sye good or bad? if bad why? any problems with them?

i know a few people have them and run them hard with a front ds with no problems

i did some measuring and a front ds doesnt have to be lenghtend by much to do this upgrade. may be i will try it but i think i will take the shaft out and have a machine shop drill and tap it. thanks for the info royal. nice rig by the way.

did a hack n' tap myself, haven't given it a full test yet, but the install was easy, just put the jeep in gear to hack it, and put it in neutral to drill it (still spins but not scary if the bit catches)
