Default Grinding (transfer case?)

This is busting my skull open, can't figure out what's up. Only started happening since the lift. When going down a hill, without the gas or brake applied, there's a grinding noise coming from kind of under the front seats. I've been told it may be the chain in the transfer case and it's not exactly a big deal, but I want to be sure, if anybody knows what's happening! Like I said, it only happens when I'm coasting down a hill, as soon as I apply brake or gas it stops. Helpppppp please!

maybe the fluid is low or needs changed? I'm not an expert but that would be my first thought.

the fluid should be right below the fill plug

It could be the TC chain or the ears on the DS are rubbing (this happened to me after installing my 4 1/2 inch lift) you can try dropping the TC 1 inch and putting 4 degree shims in the rear and that should do it...go to this link for some more info...Tj
