grinding sound coming from whats seems like TC?
I have a 4 in lift and 32s on my jeep. No SYE or TC drop. Sometimes when I let go of the gas it sounds like the gears or something r grinding in the TC. As long as i have my foot on the gas it doesnt happen? Do I need a inch TC drop or SYE??

Ummm....could be worse than you think if you're not careful with those crossmember bolts. Two are studs that had to be removed for my TC drop kit, but yours might be different. While trying to remove the studs, I broke the weld nut which is in the frame and can't be accessed without cutting into the unibody. Long story short, it was a PIA for me. Read up on that and you'll see that it's a common problem.

I had trouble getting my upper rear shock mounts out. Ended up cutting through floor panel to get to them.

Yep, that's the solution. Propane torch the crap out of those studs and try the two nuts method for screwing it out. If that doesn't work, you'll have to vice grip or pipe wrench it out. By the way, it's a 10mm x 1.5 (if I'm remembering right) bolt in case you have to go and get two nuts to try and twist it out.
