Default Grinding noise when turning

My 98 XJ has a grinding type noise when I turn to the right while driving.
Anyone have any suggestions?

maybe a u joint in the front axel? a little more info would help

It's sound/feels like it's coming from the passenger side tire area but it's not a u-joint.

Most likely the wheel bearing/hub i just had to replace both on mine.....

Jack up the front and put one hand on the top and one on the bottom of the tire and try to wiggle it, if it moves then it's most likely your hub assem.........

agreed....that what i was going to suggest as well...there should not be any movement when you try to wiggle it
