grinding noise coming from t-case
just went wheeling and sometimes while in 4lo climbing a hill i would get a grinding noise coming from the tcase and then it would jump out of 4lo and go into neutral, i know tcases are not hard to come by but i would like to save my sellf some work and money

Your linkage may be out of adjustment or the chain may be stretched. Make sure the link on the Tcase is fully in 4lo with the rod disconnected and see if it lines up with the rod with the shifter in 4lo.
I ran my Tcase out of oil once years ago and the lack of lube stretched the Chain and it started skipping in high tourque situations. A good used chain fixed the problem.
