Grinding/locking up-rear diff?

Went to back up out of my driveway today, and after this horrible grinding noise, it wouldn't go in reverse anymore. Drove forward well enough. I didn't have time to check anything yet. It sounded like metal on metal, possily a stuck drum? Just looking for things to check right now. I'm gonna go over stuff in the morning.

So it started making noise in reverse then wouldnt go backwards anymore? But you could drive it forwards? Sounds like a brake issue cause the drum brakes adjust themselfs when you are backing up

Maybe one of the shoe hold down pins broke?

Maybe the passenger drum hardware is basically shot. haha. E-brake adjuster and accompanying parts were in a mangled pile at the bottom. Also need new shoes... Ashamed of letting them get this bad.

Some kind of seal is also shot on the passenger side. Everything's covered in gear oil. What seal would that be?

Axle shaft seal?

Probably. It's more than likely all of them. This thing is leaking all over the place.
