hi all , did the search thing but couldn't find what i was looking for ...anyway drivers side window wont go up... tried mates switch out of his wreck no go.. so got the wee orange box out and when put straight to a battery works , just have to swap wires around for it to go up and down...pic to follow....have traced wires as far as i can but cant find a break?????any thoughts ....cheers ......

I had a problem of a broken wire in the door jamb a few years ago. You would have to pull the rubber boot back from the door or body to see it. Just a thought if you have not looked there yet

Wow it was a long time ago, but I found a fix for that. it involved a little bit of splicing. I'll look when I get home and see if I can find the link.

yea you probably have a broken wire in the door jam.. pull that boot back and look for it.. thats a pretty common problem
