Default Good Idea???

I have a 97 XJ, stock. I have a full leaf pack from a 00 that has an AAL in it already. My leafs are almost completely flat and i have these options...

1. Replace my entire pack with the full pack from the 00 which has the Skyjacker AAL and get about 2-3".

2. Make a bastard pack with my leaf pack and the 00 AAL pack.

I would like to achieve 3-4" of lift. I am thinking about making the following bastard pack---> XJ Main Leaf, Skyjacker AAL, XJ Main, next XJ leaf, Overload.

Is option #2 plausible? Is it a good or bad option?

I will mostly add some rear shackles to help the AAL/bastard pack.
I wont be doing insane wheeling just some average weekend treks.
I would like to be able to fit 32s.

So any opinions or suggestions would be awesome. I would love to have this figured out before I get too far into planning for disaster in doing the wrong thing.

Thanks a lot in advance for any help.

do a bastard pack with some s10 leafs. they can usually get you about 3" of lift and are pretty cheap to come by.
