gonna repaint the Heap, what color?
getting ready to re-paint the XJ in some tintable raptor liner but am torn if i should keep the current paint scheme and go with white, or if i should change the color. im thinking a bright green, or a cobalt blue, or i dunno...im open to suggestions, anything but purple, pink or red, for all you smartasses. take a look at my build and tell me what you think. all input is considered and appreciated. thanks.

green is a nice color. i just don't like a full camo color on a vehicle. i like my hunter green. looks black at night. also the midnight blues look alright. i think the most come-together color is black though. you can add a bedliner on your rockers and it will still look nice on a black Heep.

ya i like the color of yours...the darker greens and blues look good i think. and i agree i dont like the camo colors much either...and my rockers are already bedlined black. kinda want to avoid black tho cause it gets too hot and my blazer and my Honda Shadow are black so i want something different. every car/bike ive owned has been black or white lol...

My lady's WranglerRubicon/JKL (think its a 2008) came in a "Rescue Green" that was a pretty cool color. Where did you find your tintable raptor liner, and how much did you get? I've been considering doing this for a while too so I'm subscribed. You might take a digipic of your XJ and throw it in some paint software to play with colors you like.

ya but im not military, have never been, and probably never will be so...the olive drab, camo or desert tan looks aren't for me, and isnt my style. thanks for the input tho. and so your basically going with a metal flake base with a candy top coat right?

youd be better off with green then...it'll highlight the flake more and give you more depth, especially w/ the silver metal flake base...i dont play with candies though so good luck, unless your planning on thinning down some regular stuff down and doin it that way. dunno how well the flake will show through tho...
