going bigger, 2 questions
Hi all,
I have a 98 XJ with a 2" lift currently running 225/75x15s.
I want to get 31x10.50s or the equivalent Passenger tire, although I don't know how to figure out what the P measurement would be. How do I determine what size passenger tire is the same as a 31X1050 LT tire?
I know my acceleration will be affected, but will it be a significant difference cuz I do like how I rocket off the line now with my current set-up and the 4.0.
Thanks for any input!

i think it will be around a 245 or 255.
and you will still be able to have some good acceleration. I am running 33s on my stock (for now) gears. I have about 5-6 inch lift with the 33s and I still get off the line pretty quick.

Thanks for the help. According to the Conversion chart, I'm looking for 265/75R15s.
Now I got to check prices...and ideas for a nice meaty tire, not a Mud Terrain though...
thanks again
