Getting the '94 tip top

Posted here a while back about getting a 94 Cherokee for about 50 bucks, everything works on it. Went through as advised and replaced all the fluids, thermostat, plugs, wires, distributor cap, battery, terminals, air filter, and I patched up the exhaust (was literally falling off). I'm 90 percent sure the suspension is in pretty rough condition. Looking for recommendations on what to look for, or if there is anything I should just replace. 246k miles on her or thereabouts. Anything to make her run smoother/stronger/more economical? She's going to slowly be built into a hunting rig. Not looking for a hot rod rock crawler. Might get a small lift, tires, and I'm thinking about a budget small supercharger in the future. Advise? Comments?
Thanks in advance!

C.
