Default Gearing

I'm not too mechanically inclined so bare with me, also new to the jeep family. I have a 91 Cherokee 4.0, auto trans, just bought 33in tires, gonna put on a 4 maybe 4.5in lift on it soon as well. My question is, what significance does the gearing have to do with tire size and things like that??

Significant with tires. Bigger the tires the more your jeep has to work. Take a gander at this handy dandy chart for gearing.
