Gear selector rattle/clunking below?
I've searched high and low to try to resolve this but it appears my exhaust hangars are fine and there doesn't appear to be any contact from what I can see;
I recorded this clip to see if anyone could shine some light on this. The issue started after I changed the transmission and motor mounts. For what it's worth, sitting with the truck off as it cools I heard the noise. Sounds like an exhaust issue? I just can't seem to locate it.
Thank you!!!
Also- how difficult will the selector indicator be to replace? Mine decided to break during diagnosis of this.

Click on the link - it sends you to the video
OP. It sounds like a rattle - does it sound "rotational" meaning it gets louder the faster you rev the motor or wheels turn, or vibrational - like the more vibrations in the chassis the louder the sound gets?
I was going to say it could be your 4x4 linkage rattling but you have a 2wd (there is a plastic bushing in the 4x4 linkage that can degrade)
