i think i heard someone saying they used gear oil in the transfer case.....anyone ever heard of doing this? reason im asking is the one im using was very low on fluid when i got it n started making a clicking noise.....i filled it with atf n it went away for a while but its starting to come back.....i have a spare case but i wanted to see if maybe some type of more viscous lubrication would buy me some time before this one blows

i certianly agree. but if it would give me a little time to get a new sye and install it in my other t case that would be key
