I got a 99 4wd 5-speed I-6 with nothing but a fuel gauge and a speedometer. Any particular way to hook up temp and oil gauges without setting off the dummy lights? And where is the hook up for a tach?

You can always swap in a cluster from a cherokee that includes those gauges. It's really easy and I think with the 99 you don't need new sending units. There's a write up around for it. I'm on my phone or else I'd help more.

Thanks. I'll do some checking around. Im trying to make every mod I do reversible to stock. The other drawback is that I'm 6'2" and there's not that much room around me. That's why I still haven't installed my cb.

Well this just replaces your current cluster so space stays the same. If you just head to your local JY you can usually find one there. My local place charges me $30 for a cluster so pretty cheap.

Not that I know of. It has to be documented and done by a pro I think. If you do the swap just try to document everything in case you choose to sell it.

I found a guy on craigslist who was parting out an 98 whose mileage was pretty close to mine. It was as easy as pulling out the old one and swapping the new. All the guages worked perfectly
