You need sensors for gauges not lights ..Oil pressure switchand coolant temp switch. By distributor for oil and rear drivers side cylinder head for temmp.

The gauges move when I start it up. The coolant stays about 100 on the gauge and my oil pressure says its about 7, I was wondering if it could be a grounding issue?

That's what came up at the parts store, I tested the coolant sensor on the back of the block with a lighter and a multimeter

Alright I'll do that when I get home, will this tell me if my gauges are working correctly or what will this diagnose?

i did the test and my oil pressure went all the way to the right and my coolant went about half, when i was driving my oil pressure was at 20 then dropped back down to 0 could that mean its not getting a good ground on the oil pressure?
