Gauge Oil and Temp Sending Units 1996
1996 XJ 4.0 4WD
Anybody have part numbers for oil and temp sending units for gauges, not lights?

Thanks. Got the equivalents at AutoZone. Oil pressure gauge works great now, but the temp gauge starts climbing moments after starting and seems to settle in the middle of the red zone. Fluctuates a little as I drive, and I know I'm not running hot. I'm hoping it's a defective sending unit.

Look for loose wires at the CTS connector, or corrosion in the pin cavities of the connector.
High resistance in the CTS circuit will drive the indication high.

Could be a definite connection issue, but as soon as I swapped to a Mopar sensor the temp gauge read more normal for an XJ.
