Gauge cluster

I have 97 cherokee with the simple gauge and i wanna switch it to the one with a Tach. Does anyone know if a Grand Cherokee one would work? I have one laying around and wanna know if it will just plug in and work before i tear apart my dash.

nope gotta be xj same year helps a lot and have tol change sensors

I was told it already is wired for sensors just the gauge doesnt have them

Yeah I did this swap you DO NOT have to change the sensors if you have a 97 or up.just get a gauge cluster from a XJ,It will change you mileage though.The cluster i swapped in was from a 2000 so it doesnt have to be the same year either

Does not have to be the same year just97 or up
